Who may NOT like the Mill.
The unique nature of Trenabie Mill means that it may not suit some people.
The stairs are “a well worn gateway to a glorious upper part” and whilst they are authentic, they are steep and could be difficult for the very young or the very old.
If you prefer small, quiet carpeted holiday homes on one level, the mill most definitely would not be for you.
It is a Water Mill with a large mill pond and water courses - toddlers beware.
In the spring and summer the building is heated by the ducted warm air from the conservatory and perfumed by the flowers in season, therefore there is lots of pollen about. If you have an allergy to pollen it is best not to risk staying.
The plants and the hydroponics in the kiln area must be tended each day. One of us needs to come in for about 15 minutes, so if you want total seclusion whilst you are on holiday, the mill would not be for you. We work round the best time for you, usually about 6 p.m. after the heat of the day.
